Well, actually a lot of funny things happened on the way to Grand Rapids. Miranda and I had so much fun. There was a lot of singing and laughing. We saw someone who we believe was trained in Driver's Ed class to ONLY pass on the right side.
On Monday, about 2 hours into our trip, we decided to stop at a little place called Crane's Pie Pantry Restaurant and Bakery for lunch and homemade pie. What a pleasant surprise this place happened to be!
Here's Miranda - she was sure there were going to be some photo opps!
It was opened in 1916 and has been serving food and drink since. It's located in a small town of about 2,000 called Fennville.
This was the floor inside the dining area. It was completely art-filled with well-known characters, like the White Rabbit, and silly doodles.
And, the dining room was also filled with all sorts of old signage, war memorabilia, toys and vintage clothing.
I'll post more fun details tomorrow!
