I'm A Survivor

A friend of mine asked me to make a piece of jewelry for someone that had survived not one, but TWO bouts with breast cancer.

I'm getting better at the whole stamped jewelry thing.   A lot less mistakes and wasted product.

I've had a lot of time on my hands lately, but it seems like I've still had a lot to do!  And, there's still more projects to battle.  Once we get through the next week, I will have some time to devote to the nursery projects (I think!)

Playing Catch Up

It's been a busy couple of weeks...On June 2, my brother got married.  In the couple of weeks leading up to the big event, I was on project duty.  Who knew I'd be working on wedding projects and having a baby (or babies!) at the same time!
Carson and I were part of the wedding party, but as it usually goes, the person with the camera never is in any of the pictures.  But, I'm sure there are other relatives that have some snaps of us...I just don't have them right now.
Here are some of the pictures from the event:
Happy Bride and Groom!

"Love Is Sweet" Banner I made for the sweet table.

The sweet table was more of a "sweet room"!

Place cards/ Favors I put together for all the guests.

"Bride & Groom" Banner for the front of their table.

Speaking of weddings, Carson and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!  Hard to believe.  We took a trip to northern Wisconsin and went to a restaurant called Wild Rice.  The food was outstanding and it was great to get away for a few days.
The belly is growing (as you can see) and this was a couple of weeks ago!  I had just hit the 17 week mark.

Working on some nursery things...I'm not quite finished but this Annie Sloan chalk paint is the best if you are looking to re-do a piece of furniture and want to skip all the prep!
