Another card creation using stamps from PaperTrey Ink.  I also used two different sized scalloped nestabilities to cut the circles and the paper is by Cosmo Cricket.  I embellished the detail on the umbrella with stickles.

Card #14 - Just A Note

The cardstock backing is an A2 Chartreuse card by Paper Source.  I cut the place for the sentiment from cardstock using a nestability and then inking around the edge.  The pattern paper is by Cosmo Cricket and then I embellished the design with turquoise stickles.  The edge of the green paper was cut using a Martha Stewart border punch.

Sometimes, simple is best.  And, when you are creating 30 cards, the simple and quick creations are welcomed.  The paper is by Cosmo Cricket (and, by the way, I buy 6x6 pads almost exclusively because you get most of the papers from the collection and the prints are smaller which is PERFECT for cardmaking!)  

The circles were made with a punch and then I ran them through the baby x and adhered them to the card.  Then, I embellished them with stickles.

I can't seem to get away from using stamps by Paper Trey Ink.  They are wonderful, not only because they are economical, but also because they are CLEAR - which means you can see through them and they are easy to use. 

The paper used is by Cosmo Cricket and the twine is from The Twinery.  They have a great Facebook page where they post new colors and specials all the time.

I adore Martha Stewart corner and border punches.  They add so much to any greeting.  The paper for this card is by Cosmo Cricket.

Here's to Celebrating M&M Cookies

A friend of mine is having a birthday today! So, yesterday I whipped up a card and a batch of M&M Cookies, which I had never made before.

I used papers from Cosmo Cricket's Social Club collection and stamps from Paper Trey Ink (LOVE them!)

The little origami folded box that I put the cookies in is so easy to make. It was recently featured on Donna Mundinger's blog. You can watch the youtube video here.

Celebrate in Style

Here is one of the cards Mom and I made during our last creative day. The paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Upcycle collection. I love all the bags and purses...a great birthday greeting for a girlfriend. (You can click on the photo to enlarge it to see the details.)

Fly, Fly Away!

The sparrows have hatched...

There were 5 all together - and since I took this picture, they have all flown the nest.

It's been pretty rainy and yucky, so what better way to spend those days than making some cards. This is the result of an entire day of creating...

And, I was so eager to use some of the new papers I had gotten from A Cherry On Top

The papers are Cosmo Cricket Salt Air. The lighting is terrrible - but like I said, it's been raining non-stop here.

Many Thanks

Today was a busy day! But, I am thankful for it. So, I made a "Many Thanks" card. I used a variety of papers from companies including JilliBean Soup, Cosmo Cricket and Bo Bunny. My new favorite product is the colored twine that I used to thread through the button.

Come back tomorrow and I'll have a surprise for you regarding this new favorite of mine!

Heading Up North!

We're heading into the North Woods for the 4th of July holiday. My husband's family has a place near Hayward, Wisconsin. So, I'm officially "off the grid" until Tuesday.
